Privacy Policy for Still Me

30x (the “Company”) respects the privacy of users of Still Me (the “Service”) and processes personal information in accordance with applicable laws.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Still Me collects, why it is processed, to whom it may be disclosed, and how it is managed.

1. Personal Information We Collect

Still Me currently does not require users to create an account or log in.

Users are not required to provide their name, email address, phone number, or similar identifying information merely to browse the Feed, Reviews, Clinic Information, or Guides.

However, when a user requests assistance applying for a medical interpretation support program, the following information may be collected.

Applicant information

Name of the person making the inquiry
Contact information
Email address

Patient information

Patient name
Nationality
Preferred language

Visit information

Name of the clinic to be visited
Clinic location
Scheduled date and time of visit
Whether the clinic is a participating or cooperating institution

Interpretation-related information

Purpose or subject of interpretation
Preferred gender of interpreter
Other information reasonably necessary to process and coordinate the interpretation request

2. Purposes of Processing Personal Information

The Company processes personal information collected in connection with medical interpretation support applications for the following purposes:

receiving and reviewing interpretation support applications;
communicating with the applicant or patient;
confirming eligibility and application details;
transmitting application information to the Gangnam Medical Tour Center or other relevant program operator;
providing information necessary for interpreter assignment and scheduling; and
handling changes, cancellations, or other inquiries relating to the application.

The Company does not use this personal information for advertising or marketing purposes without obtaining any consent required by applicable law.

3. Sensitive Personal Information

Information entered as the purpose or subject of medical interpretation may contain information concerning a planned medical procedure, surgery, health condition, or other health-related matters.

Where such information constitutes sensitive personal information under applicable law, the Company obtains consent for its processing separately from consent relating to other personal information.

Sensitive information is processed only to the extent necessary to facilitate the medical interpretation support application and the provision of interpretation services.

4. Retention of Personal Information

The Company retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected.

Personal information collected for a medical interpretation support application will be deleted without undue delay when the transmission of the application, scheduling, and related inquiries have been completed and the information is no longer required.

Where applicable law requires information to be retained for a specified period, the Company may retain the information separately for the legally required period.

5. Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties

With the user's consent, the Company may disclose personal information to third parties where necessary to process a medical interpretation support application.

Gangnam-gu Office, Gangnam Medical Tour Center, or Other Relevant Program Operator

Purpose of disclosure:

receiving the medical interpretation support application;
verifying eligibility;
assigning an interpreter and coordinating schedules; and
operating the medical interpretation support program.

Information disclosed:

applicant name;
contact information and email address;
patient name;
nationality;
preferred language;
clinic name and location;
scheduled visit date and time;
participating institution status;
purpose or subject of interpretation; and
preferred gender of interpreter.

Retention period: Personal information will be retained in accordance with the relevant program operator's policies and applicable laws.

Assigned Interpreter or Interpretation Service Provider

Purpose of disclosure: confirming interpretation arrangements; providing interpretation services; and necessary communication and scheduling.

Information disclosed: Information reasonably necessary to provide the interpretation service, such as the patient's name, contact details, preferred language, clinic, date and time of visit, and purpose of interpretation.

Retention period: Until the purpose of providing the interpretation service has been fulfilled, or for any additional period required by the relevant operator's policy or applicable law.

Users may refuse to consent to third-party disclosure.

However, if a user refuses disclosure of information necessary to process an interpretation application, Still Me may be unable to facilitate that application. The user may continue to use Still Me's general informational content.

6. Processing by Service Providers

If the Company entrusts any part of its personal information processing activities to an external service provider, it will take appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law and update this Privacy Policy with information about the relevant service provider and processing activities where disclosure is required.

7. Deletion of Personal Information

When the retention period expires or personal information is no longer necessary for its original purpose, the Company deletes or destroys the information without undue delay.

Electronic information is deleted using a method intended to prevent reasonable restoration or recovery.

Where information is stored in physical form, it is destroyed using an appropriate method.

Information that must be retained under applicable law may be stored separately from other personal information.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, users may request:

access to their personal information;
correction of inaccurate personal information;
deletion of personal information;
restriction or suspension of processing; or
withdrawal of consent.

The Company will process requests in accordance with applicable law.

9. Security of Personal Information

The Company takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized disclosure, alteration, destruction, or other unauthorized processing.

Access to personal information is restricted to persons who reasonably require such access for their work.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

Still Me may contain links to third-party services including Reddit, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, and KakaoTalk.

Once a user leaves Still Me and provides information directly to a third-party service, that information is processed according to the privacy policy of the relevant third party.

The Company does not control personal information that users provide directly to such external services.

11. Location Information

Still Me does not currently collect or use precise location information, such as GPS information, to determine a user's current location.

Displaying a clinic's address or processing a clinic location entered directly by a user in an interpretation application does not constitute automatic collection of the user's device location.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

The Company may amend this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Service or applicable law.

Where changes materially affect users, the Company will provide notice of the effective date and material changes through the Service or another appropriate method.

This English version is provided for the convenience of international users. In the event of any inconsistency between the Korean and English versions, the Korean version shall prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law.
